Use Positive Affirmations To Manifest Prosperity

Affirmations are the positive messages you send to your subconscious mind to replace negative, limiting, scarcity filled messages with new empowering positive messages.

It seems every time you pick up the newspaper or listen to the news, there’s a dour economic forecast. Soon, all the talk of economic disaster will filter into your subconscious forming limiting beliefs about what is possible for your life.

What thoughts are you allowing to roam freely in your mind about how prosperous you can be?

When you think of prosperity, do you immediately think of money?  Do you worry that you won’t have enough for retirement or that you aren’t good enough…?

Having a scarcity mindset only serves to attracts more of the same.  One simple way to curtail a mindset of lack is to use positive affirmations.

However, it’s important that the affirmations you allow into your subconscious mind are believable or they won’t be effective.  The book, The Secret, teaches us that “we create our lives, with every thought every minute of every day”.

With so many thoughts going through your mind every minute, every day, which ones are beneficial in creating the prosperity and success you want in your life?

If I asked you to send the message to yourself  “I am rich”,  how effective would that be? If you don’t believe that’s true, neither will your subconscious mind!   Positive affirmations must be put into words in a way that your subconscious mind won’t resist.

For example, the affirmation, “I am rich” can be rephrased in a way that is more believable, i.e.,  “I am open to becoming more prosperous every day”.  This statement is not only more believable but it also creates a feeling of control and opens your mind to unlimited possibilities. Your mind won’t reject this positive affirmation because you are declaring you can imagine the possibility of it happening.

Here are a few powerfully positive affirmations to get you started:

  • I am becoming more prosperous and successful every day.
  • I am willing, ready and available to more good than I have ever experienced or imagined in my life.
  • I am becoming more prosperous and successful every day.
  • I use my thoughts and emotions to attract abundance effortlessly.
  • I am open to the flow of great abundance in all areas of my life.
  • I always have more than enough of everything I need.
  • I create a better life one positive thought at a time.
  • My day is filled with limitless potential in joy, abundance and love.
  • Today I embrace simplicity, peace and solace.
  • I expand my awareness of the hidden potential in each experience.

The more effort you put into sending positive affirmation to your subconscious mindset, the more prosperity you will attract in your life.

Enjoy the Rewards Along the Journey

I don’t buy lottery tickets but if I did, I would be among the many who invest in the fallacy that they will become the next multi-millionaire. A lot of us are living our lives waiting to hit the illusive jackpot. And for some of us, the jackpot is usually – when I get settled” (whatever that means), “after I pay off some debt”, “as soon as I can find time”, “when the last child is off to college” and other far-off reward thinking.

Why not enjoy as much of the journey as possible now and not put off joy today for that magical reward when you arrive at some illusive destination?

What have you missed spending a big portion of your life waiting…and missing out on some delicious opportunities to savor the moment?

As a young girl, I can remember my grandmother waiting…. saving things for some vague special occasion. As I noticed more and more of my grandmother’s “some day”… I made a promise to myself that I would not wait to enjoy life or any of my possessions.

I didn’t have a voice for it then, but at that point, I must have decided that I would enjoy every abundant thing that came my way. So, I use the “good” crystal for a cold drink of water, drink tea from an antique cup and saucer if I want to; serve hamburgers on the “good” china midweek, and wear that new outfit tomorrow or as soon as I can. Why would I wait for a holiday, or other special time to take joy in the abundance all around me?

Why would you want to delay the enjoyment of the things that have been provided for your pleasure when you can delight in it today?

One of the things that will stop us from enjoying our journey is usually a strong feeling of unworthiness and the deep-seated belief that we’re not good enough or deserving enough of the pleasures we so freely give to others. The feeling that we are somehow undeserving of the good things life has to offer hinders us from enjoying the very things that are here exactly for our benefit and pleasure. If you have been “waiting”, take a look around you.

What are you waiting for?

  • Reach high up on that top shelf, take down a crystal glass (I bet your orange juice will taste better)
  • For dinner tonight, use your best dishes (you can still use them for special occasions)
  • Use the “good” linen you’ve been saving for guests
  • And that outfit you bought 6 months ago, take the tags off and wear it tomorrow

And in the meantime, if you bought a lottery ticket, good luck!

How to Attract More Abundance – Show Gratitude for What You Already Have

We spend so much time focusing on all the things that go wrong in our world that we give often overlook the abundance already in our lives and the things that are going well for us. It’s common knowledge that we should be grateful but we don’t always take the time to stop and take stock of just how much abundance we already have in our lives.

Here are some things to be grateful for that you can easily overlook:

The gift of time

No matter how “busy” you say you are, you still find time to use in non-productive, time killer activities. Time is still your most precious gift.  Think about how often you waste this special gift. Are you spending countless hours indulging in mindless TV watching, browsing the Internet, chatting on the phone?  How can you eliminate some of the time killers and use your time for more productive activities?

The Gift of technology

It seems we are inundated with access to more information today than ever before, yet we don’t always use this gift as a means to educate and inform us. Make it a point to learn something new and  use it to educate and inform yourself and others.

The gift of space

Americans live in homes that are 2-3 times larger than the homes most of our ancestors lived in.  Yet, we complain of a lack of space.  We have more “things”- clothes, rooms, electronics, toys, etc –  than our ancestor . It seems we have to fill every available space creating an environment of clutter and disorganization. How much of your space is filled with clutter?  Take a look around you and make it a priority to get rid of unnecessary clutter to give you more space.

The gift of Memories

I wish I had access to more pictures of my ancestors but I don’t.  Today, you have no excuse to forego storing pictures and movies of your loved ones. With access to modern technology, you can easily save, retrieve and access your digital photos and movies of your most precious memories.

That’s just a few things to be grateful for that you may have overlooked.

What other things can you think of to add to the list?

Remember, to attract more abundance in your life, start showing gratitude for what you already have. When you consistently show gratitude for the gifts that come into your life, you open the door for more.

In what ways do you show gratitude for the abundance in your life?

Let’s talk….love to hear what you’re thinking!
